As you rightly pointed out, a pre session with the student will give ample understanding about the needs and aspirations of the student. In a few countries like India, advanced information about touching the body of female students would give better understanding for assisting and helping the subject in the learning process. 
It is nice you are touching different aspects, where generally people do not give cognigence to little but trivial aspects like this. Om Tat Sat
