I enjoyed your article 'Yoga for Active Adults'. I started yoga at 68 after three misfortunes in 3 years, i.e. broken wrist, soft tissue damage after a fall and a broken ankle. Yoga has improved my balance and restored my confidence as well as reduced my stress levels. I look forward to many more years of yoga. Thank you for your article and your newsletter. Gwen

Hello Karen
this is a super article,Yoga is for everyone in some way shape or form, you just have to find the right type for your ability.I have various injuries after falling down a flight of stairs. Which is why I started yoga over a year ago. I am 53 and do a simple yoga practice each day, it keeps me sane!! and supple. I have much more movement and this is improving slowly. I enjoy it and despite trying hard I cannot complete a full slaute to the sun and so complete a modified version. I muss it if I have not completed my morning routine.
Keep up the good work Karen and encourage others to try yoga.

Problem; Hyper acive bladder, causing frequent urination in early morning hours. Yoga postures or pranayam or bandhas(locks) or vajroli mudra may be effective treatment.
I am 79. I am used to yoga practice since a long time. Please suggest sequence of pstures for enhancing control of bladder, insomnia and feeling of tightness in feet.Thanks.I also have deafness, and age-related -macular-deterioration. thanks.

I thoroughly enjoy this article. I have been practicing yoga for years off and on. I notice when I practice I feel so much better mentally and physically. This article is encouraging me to get back to doing yoga each day, breathing and meditating. I also took an intensive 5 day course and thought about becoming an instructor. I think I'll go back to learning more yoga and at the very least practicing yoga more consistently. Thank you for sharing this important & supportive information. This is exactly what I needed to hear today! :)
