The level 2 yoga certification look interesting. What if a teacher has a 200 hour certificate, but wants to upgrade to the 500 hour training? Would we have to take the 240 level 1 developed by Paul or could we just upgrade to level 2?

500 hour TTC is great! There is no real national or international governing body for educational standards of yoga teacher. But, there are a variety of 200 hour online yoga teacher training courses that are geared specifically for instructors. There are various websites that can direct you to the best choice.

500 hour yoga teacher certification is a great credential for opening employment opportunities. With the rising cost of health care, many people are turning to yoga and other holistic healing methods.

Yoga is an awesome way to take care of joints and sore muscles without using prescription medicine which can damage your vital organs. If you are looking for employment and a way to help others improve their health, you may want to learn how to become a 500 hour yoga instructor.

A good way to begin your career as a yoga instructor is to study yoga online on a regular basis. You can take different local yoga classes to get a feel for all of the different types of yoga and teaching styles that are available. You can also get yoga books online or from your local book store or library. These will give you some background on the poses, as well as techniques for proper meditation and pranayama.

While many people think that learning the different asanas is important, don't forget about teaching methodology, yamas, niyamas, meditation, pranayama, meditation, relaxation and the philosophy of yoga. Teaching yoga classes should also include the background behind the practice and how it got started. This will give your students a full understanding of the teachings.

Try to find a local yoga instructor who has a style of teaching you think is excellent. Copying good teachers will give you insight into the yoga teaching profession. When you feel like you are ready to teach classes on your own, you can either seek employment. Paul has online courses that help you with employment or if you consider opening a yoga school of your own.
