I have a friend that would like to begin a yoga practice (with me) because it was suggested by her neurologist. She's carrying an EXTREME amount of stress in her neck/shoulders. Anyone have any immediate suggestions? I know the relaxation will have a major impact. Anything in the actual class practice that I can offer her? Thank you!

That's good on the neurologist's behalf to suggest yoga. The suggestions so far look good. My thoughts go with yoga and massage. A massage before or after yoga is going to do wonders.
