What are the benefits of becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher
(RYT)?
The RYT certification is an enhanced credential, issued by
independent third party registrars like the British Wheel of
Yoga and The Yoga Alliance. It is not currently required in the
U.S. or Canada, but may be required within some countries.
You should check on your country's regulations, if any,
pertaining to the licensing for Yoga instructors. Yoga is largely
unregulated in many countries.
Yoga certification alone will open employment doors, but
becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher will open many more.
