Thank you so much for your rapid and thoughtful reply. I had just called the studio owner with my decision to persevere with my class, and then spotted your e-mail.

I actually chose the Friday night class because I always wished for a yoga class at that time and assumed the rest of world would too. Options for other times are non-existent right now as a very well-known studio/training center lost it's lease, so many of the instructors are coming to my studio. This is partly why I decided to hang on as I know it would be tough for me to get a space later.

What I'm paying is the going rate in this area, so there is no room for negotiation - especially with all the other very experienced instructors ready to take the space. (I assume that is why the owners offered to let me out of my contract when I told them I was struggling).

You're right, the amount I'm paying is not going to kill my finances and I think I need to give it a good year to provide time to build my class. My teacher has encouraged me to keep going.

The blog idea is great. I will look into it right away.
