I'm not a tech wiz but...........

About templates - If you don't know html it might still be good to use them. When you enter text, type it directly in. Don't cut and paste your text from Word documents. Use a PPC program like Adwords to get traffic, until your site can bring in visitors with natural rankings (SEO).

Best to get started and adapt as you go. Don't wait for perfection. I don't know any yoga teachers yet, who are SEO experts too.
