Best for all yoga teachers to have clear guidelines for the parents and the kids. Kids will be kids, but there is no shortage of irresonsible parenting nowadays. It should be made clear that you are not a babysitting service. " title="Embarassed" />
Parents take advantage of schools, dance schools, day care, little league, gymnastic schools, and martial arts schools. So why would we expect them to treat a yoga teacher any different? Here's a formula for you. If I drop my son off a half hour early, you teach him for an hour, and I pick him up a half hour late, I got you to baby sit him for about $5 an hour.
Then tomorrow night I can pull this on the local karate school or little league. This type of parent is cunning, plays all the angles, and will eventually be late in paying you too. Any business that works with kids learns hard lessons about the parents.
