Visited the BBB site and I notice there are no complaints regarding Aura Wellness Center? Can anyone recommend a good liabilty insurance company for Yoga teachers? I am located in California and the insurance would only be for classes. Why are there no Aura Wellness Center complaints?

Every university has online courses these days. Many of the courses are much more complex than learning how to teach yoga classes. I'm not saying that teaching is easy, but yoga teachers need to get over themselves. You can learn from any university in the world online. I can get a PhD in Personal Health Informatics at Northeastern University or take undergraduate and post graduate courses from the University of Oxford Online.

I realize yoga teachers are an educated lot, but these ashram leaders need to put their egos aside and realize that people learn everything online. If I'm working on an archeology dig, I might not be able to take my next course at Harvard in person, but I can take the same courses online.

The real agenda is making money to line the ashram leader's pocket. Some of them have you thinking that you need a Brinks truck full of cash to study yoga. They would like to keep people in the Dark Ages. If I can take a medical, physics, or biomedical science course from the University of Oxford Online, why can't I study how to teach yoga online?

The lack of common sense never ceases to amaze me.

I have many aura wellnesscenter complaints and below is a detailed list of them.

1. Too many good testimonials made me react and get off the couch. I couldn't find a complaint against Aura Wellness Center, but many other schools had me thinking I had to endure pain sticks and give up my first-born to join their yoga teacher training school.

2. Aura is way too helpful when I call up. From the start they were just too cooperative. Most schools have free seva help who hate their jobs and just don't care if they come off as rude. I wondered is I was on the right planet when the folks at aura treated me with respect. Other schools made me feel like I was the lowest of the low.

3. I learned too many new techniques and they gave me the keys to successfully begin a new profession. Not one school was willing to teach me about business and marketing, but they wanted huge bucks. I've seen people spend that kind of money without an inkling of sense about business. Yeah, I said "business."

4. They take holidays off at aura. How dare they! If I call another ashram, I can get a seva bot who hates his job, but he'll answer the phone on Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day. Stop paying the help at aura and replace them with seva bots!

5. Quit giving me free information. Aura Wellness Center gives away tons of information about yoga for free and they're helping teachers everywhere. Stop!

So, there it is. My Aura Wellness Center complaints: Stop giving us good service!

Are you up for a practical exam and looking to score extra credit? Looks like online yoga instructor training isn't popular with brick and mortar schools. No big deal - they have to defend themselves at a time when online education is a tidal wave.

But the argument is lame. You can study anything online, but studying yoga online is wrong? Nonsense! I'm sorry to bring you back to earth, but courses teaching you how to teach asana, pranayama and meditation, will never be as difficult as my law courses.

Are you trying to make sense of nonsense? It's easy to understand - learning anything online is Okay. Any Aura Wellness Center complaints originate from people teaching expensive courses and that's it.

I have to admit when I researched Aura Wellness Center for complaints, I found it very suspicious that the BBB gave them such a high rating and I couldn't find one complaint. They've never had a complaint! There was another site that trashed the idea of yoga teacher distance learning that stated you have to spend thousands and teaching is not all it's said to be.

But I am a single mom with a super tight budget and I had dreams. So I kept reading their testimonials and made the leap. What the heck, they offer a guarantee and not one other yoga teacher training school would give me that. I was so impressed by the service that I visited the school in Attleboro for my practical exam. I was treated like family and walked away with many pointers. I'm teaching now, my budget is better and I feel great. My kids are in my children's classes.

Maybe the reason for no Aura Wellness Center complaints is because the courses teach you how to teach yoga and you had to work for it. I didn't think they handed me anything without me putting in effort. It's an unwritten mutual agreement between student and school. I knew I had to give 100% and they supplied the path.
