Namaskar Everyone,

Patenting Yoga is the morally wrong and ridiculous. It is wrong that the Indian government has to pay for a task force to help protect their heritage (Yoga) from foreign patents.

To say that I am disappointed by the US Patent Office's actions is an understatement. Where is the justice? Where is the moral world leadership?

Nevertheless, all of us can take action by writing and calling our law makers and the US Patent office. The current US administration will not respond to any domestic or International needs easily, so expect Yoga to take a "back seat" for a while; in comparison to all of the other neglected domestic and International issues.

The Indian government can make this a world issue, while Yoga teachers around the world voice a peaceful protest.

Keep in mind that any government can allow a Yoga patent at this time. So this is an International issue.

Lastly, we must voice a protest, because nothing will happen without action.
