Hi Don,

I am no medical expert by any means, but what you are describing is not normal. Although I do not know anyone that has had your problem, I would suggest going to a doctor and possibly getting a CAT scan of the hip areas. It seems like your practice and teaching schedule is a heavy one. Maybe backing off a bit for a few weeks might give you some relief and would be worth a try. I would not allow it to continue without medical intervention as I would be concerned your condition could worsen and prohibit your yoga practice. :( If you are like me, you could not live with not doing daily yoga.

Best of luck to you and let me know how you are doing.

Namaste,

Jeann
