Namaskar Twenty girl,

You have an interesting view of what Yoga is, and what it should not be. Did you know that there are many styles of Yoga and Hatha Yoga is just one of them? Below are a few questions, which will help the rest of us to understand your position a little better.

Do you feel that Yoga is a competitive physical activity only? Have you ever had an injury or ailment? Was compassion or teacher's ethics covered in your Yoga teacher training course? How do you work with a new Yoga student, who is middle-aged or older?

You are correct about obesity being a problem, but did you realize it is a global problem in developing countries, including India?

Shanti,

Paul

P.S. Very good answer Maryann.
