This thread has taken a few interesting turns. It started with a guy who hurt himself weightlifting and has taken a turn toward pushing or not pushing students in yoga classes. It seems that one Bikram enthusiast has incited a back lash and now we must adjust our yogic dialogue toward what is considered politically correct. Heaven forbid that yoginis or yogis should talk about spanking their students because students want it.
I am not a Bikram enthusiast, but sadly must admit some students wanted a spanking and left because I wouldn't become a dominatrix. I could have gone out to Fredricks's and bought one of those skimpy outfits to beat the day lights out of these clowns, but instead showed these misfits the door and told them to get professional help.
Bikram caters to the mentally unstable and there is no shortage. I leave you with one of many Bikram quotes. Please reflect upon the words of intelligence and you will realize his students need padded cells.
