Hi Barbara,
Congratulations on wanting to become certified to teach! It is an incredibly rewarding and fun way to earn a living. 
I do not know anything about New Zealand and their qualifications, but I would assume an Aura certification would be just fine. Perhaps you could contact Paul and see if he can steer you in the right direction or someone else on this forum could give you some input. I wish you the best of luck on your journey.
