My guess is Irish Dave decided to try something else like selling gold. He said he was burned before, so it was probably by a get rich quick scam that got him. If he talks to us again, some scammer probably shook him down again.
This site was probably not glitzy or scammy enough for him to sign on. It takes a special lure to attract a big game fish - the same gs for people who constantly fall for scams. You have to have a little greed in your heart. Like - how many relatives do you have in Middle East and Nigeria who want to send you millions? If I fall for that - I deserve it!
Yoga takes dedication and its not all about getting rich. We all know you can make some money but you can't get rich quick on yoga. But we all love to teach others. So it's a passion more than a money maker. Luckily, Aura provides information so we could earn some real money and won't lose our shirts and some of us will do quite well.
The bottom line is: Yoga needs real teachers with passion for the practice and compassion for students. This is a great thread, but the creator's motive was to discredit. Then something funny happened - we read the poll and voted unanimously up to this point in time. The biz of yoga is just icing on the cake that no other certifying organization would give you.
But heck, all of the ebooks were very informative and then the heavy duty study materials arrive at your door. The course is solid and Paul makes changes to improve it every year.
