Definitely you should certify! For the safety of your students and yourself. To some people yoga certification is just about collecting some extra wall paper. While this may be true for some of us in yoga and academics, there is much more to it. One yoga teacher training course is an eye opener that makes you aware of the value of safely running a class. The more you learn, the more you want to know.
The experience you pick up from a yoga course is a quantum leap forward in knowledge. To teach yoga classes without the actual training puts your students at risk of injury. Sure you can sit down and read, but you will have no guidance. The same goes for learning any form of information without a guide. We need to know what to look for when we teach yoga sessions. That's why we all need to take a yoga teacher training course of some kind.
