I personally began practicing yoga 12 yrs ago because my life was in shambles, and I was full of fear, anger, anxiety, depression, etc. One session had me hooked! Yoga slowed me down my aggitated body and quiet my raging mind... helped me stretch and release physical tensions, burn off negative energy, and learn to step back and be the observer of myself... connected me with my true inner self far more than any religion had ever done, and helped me to clarify what was really going on in my life, what I really wanted/needed, etc. I found peace. Yoga saved my life.
