What you said about the correlation between pets and yoga and their ability to reduce blood pressure was a great point. With that in mind it's a great idea to interact with them sometimes b4 I practice helping to put me in that calm or energetic feel good state :)

Also one of the intentions of yoga is to help ground and keep you more aware and connected with The wonderous world around you. It seems that in treating ur pets with the love and respect they deserve the same thing happens too because that is also energy in motion. Giving thus recieving. In turn strengthening and grounding you and keeping you connected.
