Namaskar everyone,

I have been doing yoga for 8 yrs now. As I am now in 2nd trimester -19 weeks. I do have hypothyroidism.

I did start about my 6th week or so but it did not go to well as my vomiting and tiredness was quite bad. So I started back again on the 12th week twice a week with the supervision of my iyengar yoga teacher. Somewhere around the 2nd week i started feeling a lot more lighter and my mood swings too were better. I feel happy after my class :) .

The pace compared to the rest in class is of course much slower and that was made known to the rest of students due to the condition i am in. I love doing the sun salutation, dog pose (this is inversion but i do enjoy this position), the back bend (just once-it really makes me happy) and all those relaxing position but the head is always raised a little (with the help of the brick or towel).

Well i hope to enjoy my classes till my 7th month at least.

The one advice I really do follow is listening to my body's capability. I may have been able to stretch a lot more before but now if thats all i can go - thats all that is, i do not push till there are aches & pains. As long I am relaxed in that position - I feel good about it.

Well my hubby and family noticed the difference in my mood swing after my lessons. I am much lighter and more joyful.

The only thing now to get motivated to complete my teacher's training course - first with my written exam out of the way (at least i have got started finally)

Shall write more soon... <img decoding=" title="Wink" />
