Never thought I would defend YA, but here goes.... Mukerjee says it's easy to start an Alliance. I say go for it and I'll join. You know why? Because it's not that easy and I sure wouldn't want the job. Checking up on everybody is a pain when you've got thousands of yoga teachers to monitor.

Yoga Alliance, British Wheel of Yoga or whatever label you want to call them are the best we've got for now. But how can you regulate an activity that helps you spiritually? Who wants government regulation of a spiritual practice? Is that legal? Who wants government regulation of Yoga? Do you want the government to regulate your family or your mind? Are you happy with government regulation of medicine?

Nobody is perfect but if you want to be registered the option is there.
