What a "classless" remark. I share your cultural background, but not your feelings towards "westerners." The proliferation of Yoga is good for all and people are getting the message. Stop posting to create misery and begin posting to promote bliss. You are "missing the boat."
Yoga can go far in bringing the world together. About trees - there are many yoga movements for environmental consciousness. If you feel so strongly, maybe you could put your energy towards a good cause like recycling to save trees.
Try to reach to those you see as adversaries and find common ground. They don't have to become Hindus to be good people. Learn to forgive and let go. About this holiday (Yoga Day USA): we need a holiday that is less inclusive. Maybe we should reserve our energy for learning more about Holi and enjoy the celebration.
