Absolutely correct, registering is an option and is not required by any government, but the BWY would have you think they are an arm of the government. If you want to be a certified Yoga teacher, you should go for it, but understand that doors open as you have more experience. No single piece of paper will open all the doors of opportunity. You should also know how to market yourself as an instructor of Yoga.
