At the age of 50 or more, you tend to know what you want. As mentioned above, older teachers are much less likely to hurt their students, but this ds not mean that young teachers will. Bikram is no spring chicken, but he likes to jump on people for the camera. Do you think he cares if he hurts a student?
The few yoga teachers that take risks will always grab the headlines. Do people want to read about honest politicians, good role models, and saintly priests? No Way! Dirt sells more newspaper.
Yoga teachers who take chances with their student's health, do not belong teaching classes, regardless of their age.
