There is a very deep and cutting insult to yoga here. Many of you are so nice, that you put it aside, but I take issue with it. If you stop, read, or listen to the yoga snob, you can see undercurrents and hidden agendas. Ds someone seem innocent, by practicing yoga in their underwear, wearing high heels, and posing as a dominatrix? Is the meaning of yogini: A dominant female posing for sadomasochistic practices? This is utter foolishness and it is a slap in the face to yoga. To quote Yoga Juice:

Quote:
But this must be clean attitude is akin to when moral police come to power and suddenly dark perverse art has a renaissance. Define yourself by what you teach, not by putting others down.

Hmm Yoga Juice - are you worshipping dark perverse art? What are yama, niyama, and kriya? Maybe some of us miss the "clean attitude" principles that are covered in a reputable foundational training. You don't have to be moral police to know right from wrong. A picture is worth thousands of words and any self respecting yoga teacher is insulted when yoga receives a cheap shot from somebody who is out to make a few bucks at the expense of all of us. In another part Yoga Juice says:

Quote:
I think youre missing Jacquie yoga snobs underlying point, that one can enjoy yoga for the great internal feeling and energy it cultivates without faking a squeaky clean life style.

No point is missed. Juice is implying that yogis and yoginis are faking a clean life. We are all a bunch of fakes because of a clean image. A clean life style is for fakes? Really? Do you really practice yoga or are you Jacquie the yoga snob?
