If you depended on men to teach yoga in the west, it would still be in the closet. For some reason it doesn't attract droves of men in the west. It will also be hard to find a Brahmin in these parts and that requirement would surely give us imposters. Bad enough John Smith goes to India on a spiritual quest and comes back in robes as Swami False prophet (with a new Indian Name). The point is there are already enough false prophets and the west is skeptical at best of all religions.
Kids definitely don't belong in an adult class, but a kids yoga class is wonderful. Children will get more out of yoga with one adult instructor and their peers. Let kids have fun in yoga class and the world will be a brighter place.
