I am 67 year old man from India.I had Ishcemia of the heart 32 years back.I have Hypertension for the past 30 years. I am taking medicines regularly and i have no problem with either of the diseases so far by gods grace.My lipid profile is under normal levels. I do walking for 4 km every day for 40 mts.I am a vegetarian purely. I am now a prediabetic. I have not yet started medicine for diabetes so far. I am doing bhramari for the past 2 years and i do Omkaram 2 times every day. I also do Abdominal/chest/and upper clavicular breathing exercise for 10 mts. Now I wish to know firstly whether i can start doing the anulom/vilom prnayama every day at this age? If so for how many rounds/mts? Next will there be any side effects or i mean to say how to know that doing this pranayam has no bad effects on my body and suited to me as well. ? Kindly adivse
