Hi ZY,
I can't believe I just spent 45 minutes writing my post was erased. That's what I get for Not using a word processing program offline first. " title="Crying or Very sad" /> Those of you who have long posts should back them up
Balancing is not a common issue, but it is possible. Speak to your mother to find out about her symptoms and time lines. Yours will likely be similar. If balance wasn't an issue for your Mom, please see a doctor.
Balancing difficulty could be from a prescription or the inner ear. It's better to find the exact cause.
Anyway, this thread is great because we can specifically discuss yoga for perimenopause.
There is a thread about menopause with some perimenopause information at:
//www.yoga-teacher-training.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=376
In short, there is an asana precription on that thread, but here is a shorter one for you.
Janu Sirsasana (Head-to-Knee Pose) with the head supported
Supta Virasana (Reclining Hero Pose)
Supta Baddha Konasana (Reclining Bound Angle Pose)
I'm looking forward to seeing your new thread grow and I'll be back.
Peace,
Steph
