Using Mats IS NOT Chair Yoga!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think if you are going to be using mats in a chair yoga class, you should warn students ahead of time. You can spare them all the time it takes to get ready, catch a bus, visit a senior center, and go home. It may sound easy to you, but are you 80 years of age? Fear of falling is a big concern and it's based in reality. Many seniors fall, break a hip, or a get a concussion, because of a fall.

The consequences of a fall for seniors are listed below.

1. A visit to an emergency room

2. A stay in the hospital

3. A stay in one our award winning nursing homes, with five star service.

4. Bankruptcy - Yes, you run out of money, because the system beeds you dry.

5. Death - Look at the stats for recovery from a broken hip or a concussion.

Do Not take chances with seniors lives or their health. Yoga is for quality of life - not for ending it because of foolishness. If a senior wants to take a risk at least give them a warning in writing and say it loud enough for them to hear you.
