are you sure it's a question of protein? couldn't it also be iron that your body is lacking? the iron contained in vegetarian food, is not as well absorbed as the iron found in meat, and one has to be aware of the food that affects iron absorption. there are some articles about that in the internet.
living as a vegetarian now for more than 10 years, i experienced a lack of iron. i felt weak and tired, lack of concentration and energy, getting sick easily... for me, to fill up the lack of iron in my body, it was easiest and most efficient to take a liquid iron formula (e.g. floradix), as it's not always easy to get enough iron out of my diet.
maybe you just do a little research about that topic and check if your diet contains too many iron inhibitors or not enough enhancers. btw, this doesn't mean that you will have to exclude iron inhibitors (e.g. coffee), in moderation they are fine (i enjoy my coffee too), but just don't have them together with your iron sources and make sure you balance it out with enough enhancers.
