You would think online best yoga would have videos. Online yoga is not an official style, but I like the method of delivery. Yoga has been around for thousands of years, practiced by millions around the world, it is only recently that practitioners have taken up this healthful activity in their own homes. Yoga studios can now be found in cities both large and small, however, many people prefer to practice yoga in the comfort of their own homes rather than surrounded by relative strangers. Appealing to this more reserved style of yoga practice are the increasing number of websites offering yoga videos and membership sites that allow you to practice whatever type of yoga you prefer, when you want, right from home.
Starting in the late eighties to early nineties there was an abundance of yoga video tapes available for beginning and expert yogis alike. These were replaced by yoga DVDs a few years later, but still provided the same level of interaction and instruction that home-based yogis enjoy. Now that most people have access to the internet from their homes they can access unlimited yoga videos.
Practicing yoga at home holds an appeal for yogis of all different experience levels. Beginning yogis especially appreciate the privacy they can enjoy at home while slowly building up their confidence in this "new" discipline. However, if you just don't have time to make it to the studio or are feeling a bit lazy, there is no reason why you cannot fit at least twenty minutes of yoga into your day by downloading a yoga video on demand. All you need is a mat, enough space to move your body around and some quiet time to yourself with the added benefit of going at your own pace.
Combining the ancient practice of yoga with the modern age gives you unlimited, all-day access to yoga from the comfort of your home, hotel room or wherever you can lay down your yoga mat.
