Pranam eartheart, Don, and Priyah

Priyah you are correct about the source being T. Krishnamacharya. Although there is a difference, in a sense, making much over the difference between Iyengar Yoga and Viniyoga is something like spliting hairs.

Both are innovative forms of Therapeutic Yoga, which is the application of Yoga principles for healing by prescribing specific diet, mudras, meditation, pranayama, bandhas, asanas, and much more.

Therapeutic Yoga is very helpful for people suffering from ailments such as diabetes, heart problems, blood pressure difficulties, anxiety attacks, asthma, depression, and many more.

Om Shanti My Friends,

Jopis
