We will miss Guruji. Pattabhi Jois began to train in yoga at age 12 and studied under the great Guru T. Krishnamacharya in the early 20th century. Pattabhi Jois and T. Krishnamacharya translated ancient texts on the Ashtanga technique. Later he founded the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute in Lakshmipuram, Mysore.
