I started my program about 3 weeks ago and I am so happy with the Anatomy DVD and the books. I can see I will be well versed in Yoga by the time I finish that written exam. It is very comprehensive which is good. I have a couple of volunteers lined up to be in my video. I am a Nurse in an Emergency Room and I feel like the Yoga education is a nice balance to my job. I feel glad that I have this medical background to help me also, because I already have my CPR and I have Advanced level in CPR - ACLS as part of my job so I do feel ready for any emergency that could potentially happen in a class. I do have a few moments here and there that "I'm not ready for this" for instance if I have a rough class in my own practice. I have to remember to take it one day at a time and trust the process. It is very exciting!

Namaskar Kerry,

As the saying goes: "Don't sweat the small stuff." We all have our days. Teaching Yoga is a journey of patience, fortitude, and joy. Everyone on this forum has been where you are right now. If you ever have a question, please feel free to ask.

OM Shanti,

Paul

Wow...I just stumbled onto this post I wrote a year ago! I have finished the program and awaiting grading of my exam/video. The program was a great experience. I believe my personal "Yoga" has been a life long process of learning and evolving. I see that everything I have done in my life has led me to this time where all the facets of my personal and professional life are able to come together and complement each other through Yoga teaching. Thanks Paul and Aura Wellness Center!
