Namaskar Yoga,
Can't say I ever had your experience. I have read about it and have sometimes I have met people who just don't like anyone who looks different from themselves. But I'm sorry to read about this. Sounds like you are in a fundamentalist area. Hopefully, you'll meet more sane people. Problem is extreme radical religious thinking is dangerous. Sometimes they hurt or kill people. If it gets too far out of control you might have to move. You could offer to teach Yoga in a public setting like a park in the day time, so they know the devil won't get them. You should stick to English and forget the Sanskrit. You might want to give them lessons about what yoga can do for their health. If all else fails - you may have to teach a "stretch class." That is a different label to avoid conflict with the narrow minded.
Om Shanti,
Tomako
