Namaskar,

There seems to be a conflict in the definition of Samadhi and the attainment of it. How can someone remain unattached to the outcome and do any good? How can one perform Karma Yoga and reach Samadhi? How can a Yoga teacher remain unattached to the positive outcome of his or her students. How can a parent remain unattached to outcome, be a responsible parent, and work toward Samadhi?

Please help.
