Namaskar Lisa,

Glad to see you have found friends in the yoga teacher forums. The great part about taking a course while attending local classes is that you will notice who is a great yoga teacher. And you can notice who isn't cut out to be a yoga instructor for dogs. <img src=" title="Laughing" /> The drill sergeant attitude seems to a come from instructors who should have joined the military or should be teaching martial arts.

In most cases, these pseudo military types couldn't cut it in the military or martial arts. To make up for it they become a Pilates instructor or hot yoga interrogator  . But in all fairness, they're compensating for something. Maybe they were kicked around as children and now's their chance to get revenge. Hence, they shouldn't be teaching yoga at all.

OM Shanti,

A.S. Kumar
