The continuing courses require at least 45 hours of teaching duration every 3 years that starts from preliminary certification date and 30 hours of training after every 3 years from the date to initial training in which 10 hours must be contact and 20 hours of non contact for continuing education. Contact hours are completed by the physical presence of qualified instructor in any course, workshop, training session or in discussion of a study group. Whereas non contact hours are completed by taking 5 hours online course or associated course and publishing articles, newsletter, books or producing videos related to yoga.

The continuing educations courses include several categories such as guided practice and training of techniques that comprises of asanas, paranayama, mantra, meditation and other classical forms of yoga.
