I really liked all those informative posts and hence just wanted to show my appreciation
Yes, I do recommend Pranayama to Seniors. I believe starting with very light easy poses like Sukhasana, deep breathing, Aalom-Vilom and Kapalbhati for seniors. I agree with Gator that many seniors have heart problem or BP problems and hence to check with them before advicing asanas. I usually avoid asanas with too much of spinal movement or bends for seniors. Give them asanas with straight spinal alignment, deep breathing techniques and yes, of course the use of chairs is good for Seniors.
