I started out like everyone; I knew nothing about yoga. I seen offers like this:
10 classes for $15.00
9 classes for $10.00
With other variations on this line. Usually these classes had to be taken in as many days. I took three different studio's up on this offer and went to every class I was offered over a period of a month or less.
In the end I settled on two studio's with vastly different yoga styles. I would go to one a couple of times; then the other once or twice after that. Alternating styles back and forth, paying as I went. Often I would practice on my own, as I do now exclusively because of the lack of studio's in the area where I live.
Now this yoga isn't free but had to be close to it. One studio obviously made nothing on me because I never went back!
My question is this; is this something practiced often among successful studio's? Maybe this was a local or regional thing. This was in Sacramento and subs.
