Hi Rishi, Paul and Jindi,
Good points above my post and much to think about. Yoga teachers never seem to be interested in teaching for the money. But let's get real. No money equals a poor yoga teacher who is struggling to eat. Will students take in a poor yogi who gives it all away? Will the world's governments help poor yoga teachers who don't charge enough for their services to feed, clothe, and shelter themselves?
You know the answer. The governments tax us for every penny we take in and they want to tax you for more. Every yoga studio needs a staff that's pro-active in giving information to the public. No money equals no studio - equals no yoga teachers. This simple but cruel formula is part of the capitalistic world we live in, unless you have somebody who financially backs your karma yoga efforts.
Peace,
Gator
