Hi Mark,
What an interesting topic you have brought up! I am pretty much in the same boat as you are. I would consider myself a flexitarian with a big weakness for chocolate. I look at food as fuel for my body and try really hard to eat lots of fresh produce and lean protien. I do not eat a lot of read meat, but do enjoy the occasional steak. I notice that I feel 100% better and more energetic when I eat well, so that is usually my goal on a given day.
I agree with you in the sense that I wonder if I would be more spititually attuned to my yoga practice if I became a total vegetarian, but with a son and a husband to cook for, it would be a tough thing for me to actually implement on a daily basis.
Thanks for such a thought provoking topic!
Namaste,
Jeann
