Right now (Jannuary) is the best time of year to teach Yoga in a dance studio. Many dance studios are actively seeking Yoga instructors for classes. You will usually teach the kids, their parents, and some of the staff. It tends to be busy in dance studios from January until June and then it picks up again in September.

If you are interested in giving Yoga instruction at a dance center - Get a letter prepared and solicit each one in your area. Folllow up with a call a week after the mailing. It will be best to propose a split. Most dance centers will work with you.

Some will rent space to Yoga teachers. Renting space is only good if you have an active following already. So the time to act is right now. If you want to teach Yoga, working with a dance studio is a regular gig.

Om Shanti,
