Yoga Teacher Training Forum

This Kula stuff is all very interesting, but getting back to why our students come to yoga class is partly to belong. But we need to maintain their interest or they move on. And not everone's interest is the same. If you came because your doctor told you to and another student is a yoga groupie, you don't have common reasons for being there.

I also disagree that everyone wants to belong. Some are yoga studio hoppers in search of nothing. Kind of like a yogi without a cause. They roam from teacher to teacher learning a bunch of techniques but they never connect the dots.
