My question is, if the person has medicated HBP do they still need to avoid these postures? My older students that have HBP are mostly medicated. I only give the warnings during classes in which I know there are students or may be students with these health issues. So, I'm really curious as to whether we should "insist" a student with HBP not perform the pose in question and do a modification, or leave it to them to decide if they wish to do the modification or continue in the pose.
