Outside of the US, many countries, provinces, and cities have business permits for everything. This reason is to bribe local government officials for everything. If a permit is $50, you will pay another $200 in protection fees from local government officials. If you don't pay, they break all your windows. Many Americans not happy with government in US would be surprised at the level of corruption abroad. Suggestion - you have free society, so keep it that way. US is still so wonderful place to live. Don't change it with corruption of state officials who would like to charge you for breathing. Be careful about too many regulations this will prevents US from finding creative thinkers. Right now the world needs creative thinking for electric cars, solar power and wind power. You don't need extra regulations in US. Keep your rights. Yog is fine the way it is already in US.
