Just thought I would stop in. There is a lot of back door politics at YA. Lots of muscle flexing, big business, legal letters and so forth. Some of the biggest players in Yoga are trying to change Yoga Alliance to recognize THEIR version of online training. Let's see if they change their rules again because big money is very tempting in a scarce economy. My bet is on more NEW Yoga Alliance rules changing to suit those who have the money. I am talking conspiracy -You Bet I am. Anyone who thinks this rule changing is all about integrity can forget it. Money talks - even in yoga. Fact is - there is no desire to embrace diversified forms of yoga. It's just a way of blowing smoke up your sits bones. When a yoga teacher organization has too much power it will corrupt yoga absolutely. Do you stay on the sideline? Yeah - what else can you do unless you decide to form your own band of yoga instructors. That's what happened in the UK when the British Wheel of Yoga got too big for their own good. The Yoga Register formed as a result of the British Wheel of Yoga's politics. Some British teachers join Yoga Alliance to get away from the clutches of the British Wheel of Yoga. What am I on about??? Yes, you need an alternative to Yoga Alliance because you invite corruption with a one party system. The communist party was full of corruption because it was the only game in town. Wake up yoga teachers we need an alternative organization ASAP! Even if you joined YA you know it is gradually getting worse.
