Your goverment is the creator, regulator and enforcer of all laws. That should be clear for anyone to see. Why is this so hard for yoga teachers to understand? Do we have our heads in the clouds? No organization can claim to have the clout your goverment has. Any government can put you behind bars for anything. About yogis behaving badly, it makes good entertainment for comedy videos. People like to laugh. The news likes to tear people down, especially if they look honest. Having yoga ethics makes you a target because news people are like crabs in a bucket. they'd rather knock you down than put up a nice story.
