Namaskar Gator,
You are funny. First you say Yoga teachers should be registered by Homeland Security and now you warn us that the Alliance is the sly fox. Remember what happened to the little boy who cried wolf too many times. " title="Laughing" />
Seriously, every yoga teacher has a choice. Some people choose to be registered and some don't. You are right about the need for an alternative registry though. The hidden agenda is becoming crystal clear. The Yoga Alliance would be a better help if they produced material similar to the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT). We could all use some solid educational material.
It seems they are too busy making rules they don't enforce. Here's one example: No Yoga school is supposed to state that they are Yoga Alliance accredited. But schools knowingly do it all the time, and this has been going on for years.
See ya later Alligator.
Om Shanti,
Priyah
