In my opinion - Yoga Certification Houses - such as the big US based ashrams who organized Yoga Alliance, are only "fluff." They love to ring your bell for thousands and give you nothing.
If being Certified is more than sufficient for teaching in any reputable studio - and this issue is not even inforced by the government, at this point, then why would someone spend so much effort, time, and money, to become "Registered?" They can go out and start making the money now - with just being Certified.
