Restorative Yoga is very complex and therapuetic. With all of the props, anatomy, and therapy options, restorative yoga certificication should require 300 hours of study. This is at least 100 hours beyond the level 1 foundational teacher training levels.
Going deeper into the asanas ds miracles for the body. Restorative is a form of yoga therapy that helps people get rid of pain, stress, and illnesses.
The following yoga props should each be covered in detail: Yoga block, Yoga strap, Blankets, Benches, Bolsters, Balls, Chairs, Stools, Wall, Pillows, Eye Pillows, and Steps.
Pranayama techniques are also part of Restorative Yoga teacher training. Such as: Bhastrika, Ujjayi, Dhirga, Kapalbhati, Bahya, Anulom Vilom, Bhramari, and Udgeeth, should all be covered.
All of the foundational material should remain - as this is fundamental.
